A FASHION-FORWARD WEDDING AT HOTEL BILLINI | DR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
In the heart of La Zona Colonial, Santo Domingo, Ana & David created a wedding that was a true reflection of their personalities, authentic, creative, and meaningful.
From the start, they wanted a celebration that felt personal and intentional. With the help of the event planner Licelot Pérez of Media Naranja Eventos, they brought their vision to life, making sure every detail represented their story.
An Editorial Approach to Timeless Memories
Amanda and David wanted their wedding photography to mirror the day’s essence of raw, joyful, and beautifully unfiltered. In their own words: “Choosing Penélope was an easy decision. As both a close friend and a photographer with an editorial-meets-documentary approach, she captured the fleeting moments that defined our day, making every frame a testament of our love”.
A Dress with Meaning & A Unique Veil
Ana’s wedding dress was inspired by childhood sketches of her dream gown. She chose a sophisticated A-line mikado dress with a hidden slit and squared neckline—elegant, simple, and true to her vision.
She paired it with a custom tulle veil adorned with Swarovski crystals, designed to catch the light as she walked down the aisle.
A Groom with Style & a Personal Touch
David wore a black velvet jacket suit with a Bird of Paradise boutonnière, adding a modern edge to his classic look.
The couple also included a unique detail for guests, custom-brewed craft beer made by David and his groomsmen. Each bottle had a personalized label with the guest’s name and table number, doubling as a thoughtful keepsake.
A Wedding True to Them
Ana & David focused on what mattered most: a wedding that felt authentic and personal. Every detail reflected their story, proving that the best celebrations are the ones that stay true to who you are.
