A WEDDING BY THE CARIBBEAN SEA

An intimate destination wedding filled with tradition, movement, and a very good party.

There was something beautifully effortless about this wedding. Set along the Caribbean coast, the day moved between quiet, intimate moments and the kind of celebration that pulls absolutely everyone in.

The ceremony took place just steps from the ocean, surrounded by palms, open sky, family, and the traditions that made the day distinctly theirs. There was softness in so much of it. The way they looked at each other, the wind coming off the water, the veil moving across the beach, and those few quiet minutes together before everything shifted gears.

And then came the Hora.

What had felt calm and intimate suddenly became loud, fast, and wonderfully chaotic. Chairs went up. People went flying. Everyone crowded in. There was dancing, yelling, laughing, and absolutely no standing on the sidelines.

That contrast felt so much like them. Romantic without taking themselves too seriously. Stylish, but completely willing to let go. A celebration that held tradition and personality in equal measure, with space for both the quiet moments and the completely ridiculous ones.

Exactly the kind of wedding I love to photograph.
